When life is difficult, the moments of spotting and framing a photograph are sometimes the only relief from an almost unbearable frame of mind. I like this one because it's weird and not at all comforting, and yet the mural is so vivid, so unexpected (I didn't know it was there until I saw it, near the spot where I took
these, just as it stopped raining) - more alive than the streets around it or the sky above.

Your photographs present beauty that may be before our eyes, but without you to frame it for us we would never see.
Hard to believe that's part of a building, isn't it?
Amazingly powerful in an ambiguous way.
Ty for sharing that unexpected gift.
It is very colourful...good for the soul
What an amazing treasure to suddenly come upon. Seems very Latin.
Stumbling upon a mural in a parking lot, I was astounded by the great size of a modern locomotive ... so real it was that I missed hearing a long hoooot.
Vibrant
On Vancouver Island we visited a town that's full of murals (Chemainus). Made me wish every town was like that!
