What an amazing installation; it took a while before I could see how the paper aeroplanes where held there. But it seems very perishable, how does it not get destroyed by wind and rain, or does it?
Lucy, very good point! It seems to have been there for a few weeks already and to be scheduled to stay until September. I took the photos very quickly, passing by on the way to an inside event. I'll have to go back and take a more careful look.
Absolutely stunning. At first I thought they were actually flying away into the sky - which would be marvellous - but now I see the sheets are attached by strings. Either way it's a brilliant concept and execution, and so are your photos.
