Cathédrale sous la pluie
























A few more photos of Ely Cathedral in the rain are here. Taken in a hurry and all from the same side, because gosh it was wet! Nice light, though.

Good photos - I love tangled bare boughs against old stone buildings. There are a lot of similar scenes in Oxford in winter. The boughs and stones have a similar rough surface and low-key colour and seem to slightly merge together. The opposite of minimalist slab buildings with not an organic curve or twig in sight!
