Misty here, too, in both senses of the word! Someone once told me if you're in a fog the solution is either to stay close to the ground or rise above it.
I love mist - it may correspond to something in my mind! It always makes me feel rather elated. I just about remember some London fogs in my early childhood. The sky, in the daytime, was deep gamboge and the buildings just silhouettes of very dark grey. It was very dramatic.

Here we get the sea mist ('haar') and it can stay for weeks at a time at its worst!
