Not bizarre! Much as I moan about London, the riverside is very nice. You would find it much improved since your were last here, Beth, with the Tate Modern and the Globe as new foci on the South Bank and the whole riverside much refurbished and opened up and a very pleasant place to hang out, with the spaciousness of the wide river and no road traffic.
Lucy, yes, it's taken from high up and through a window and the light is quite strange. I've taken many pictures from the same place and the effect is always similar.
Views I photograph over and over - rather liking what I got the last time.
